YAVAPAI COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT EXTENDS HOURS OF OPERATION ON ELECTION DAY

PRESCOTT, ARIZONA - On April 1, 2024, the Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice issued Administrative Order 2024-55, directing the Superior Court, including the Office of the Clerk of the Court, in each county in the state to remain available to accept election- related filings on July 30, 2024, and on November 5, 2024 until all the polling locations in the county are closed to voters. The extension of the hours of operations in the Superior Courts will ensure any legal dispute regarding voting receives prompt consideration.

Therefore, for the sole purpose of receiving filings regarding elections or voting, the Yavapai County Superior Court in Prescott will remain open on July 30, 2024, and on November 5, 2024, until all polling locations in Yavapai County are closed to voters. Any elections matters requiring immediate consideration may be filed electronically or in person at the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, located at 120 South Cortez Street, Prescott, Arizona 86303, room 207. No other filings will be accepted between 5:00 p.m. and close of business on July 30, 2024, and November 5, 2024. Information regarding e-filing can be found at www.azcourts.gov/efilinginformation.
