Clearinghouse Handling Fee

Effective April 1, 2020, the monthly handling fee (formerly clearinghouse) will increase from $5.00 to $8.00. The goal of DCSS is to collect and distribute child support payments to help support Arizona families.

The monthly handling fee is used for payment processing that assists the program with collecting and distributing payments and keeping an account of all payment records. The increase in the monthly handling fee will allow the Division to provide more efficient, accurate and secure information, process improvements to case management, and provide better customer service support.

This change is implemented under the A.R.S. § 25-510 (D) and R6-7-103 in the Arizona Administrative Code to allow the Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) to better serve our clients.
