The Court now has the capability to allow parties and attorneys to appear by video or phone using Microsoft Teams. The Court prefers video appearances if parties cannot be present in person, and appearances by phone as a last resort if a party or attorney cannot be present in person or by video.
To appear by VIDEO:
- Contact the Division at (928) 567-7722 to obtain the videoconference link through an email from the Division to your email address.
- You will need a device that has a camera and a microphone. This can include a cellphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
- You do not need to have Microsoft Teams on the device you are using.
- To join the meeting and appear for your hearing, click on JOIN MICROSOFT TEAMS MEETING provided to you in an email either from the Division or from your attorney.
- When the Court calls your case, unmute your device and the Court will address you directly.
- Be aware:
- There may be other hearings going on at the time you connect with the Court. That is fine; hearings are open to the public. Just mute your device until the Court calls your case.
- The Court and anyone else on the hearing will be able to view what is viewable on your camera so please ensure everything is court appropriate
To appear by TELEPHONE:
- Contact the Division at (928)567-7722 to obtain the conference call ID and PIN through an email from the Division to your email address.
- You will need a telephone; landlines are preferred. The Court discourages use of cellphones and will only permit cellphone use as a last resort.
- To join the meeting and appear for your hearing, call the conference line and enter the PIN number provided to you in an email either from the Division or from your attorney.
- When you appear, mute your device as the Court will be able to immediately hear you once you join the meeting.
- When the Court calls your case, unmute your phone and the Court will address you directly.
