Published on February 28, 2024
On Saturday, February 24, 2024, approximately 45 students and five coaches gathered at the Historic Prescott Courthouse to participate in the Regional Mock Trial Competition. Prescott High School, represented with three teams, faced off against Coconino High School to present their cases before Yavapai County Superior Court Judges Michael Bluff, Michael McGill and Kristyne Schaaf-Olson, as well as Family Law Commissioner Joseph Goldstein. Once again, Prescott Hight School was declared the regional winner with the most convincing presentation. They will be moving on to compete in the State Competition, which will be held in Phoenix in late March. The winner of the State Competition will be eligible to compete in the National Championship in May. Congratulations, students of PHS!
